Rule 48
Unpaid leave
(1) An employee requesting unpaid leave as per sub-section (2) of section 59 of the Act shall submit an application with evidence that his or her spouse is working in a Nepalese embassy or any mission abroad.
(2) Employees will get the leave as per sub-rule (1) once or several times up to a maximum of five years.
(3) Leave under this rule must be approved by the committee.
